Fresh Ideas to Do Good.

Sometimes I need reminders to do good.
It's not that I don't want to do good, I totally do.
I just needed some fresh ideas.
Some inspiration.
This morning I read this.
Thanks, Angela S. for posting it on Pinterest and bringing it to my attention.

Wouldn't this be thee best Family Day
Wouldn't you love to do this with your family?

We are soooooo doing it.
I'm putting it on the calendar today.
I can't wait.

  1. thanks for sharing that post.

i love how she celebrated her birthday.

it would be a terrific family day. i started making a list in my head how we can incorporate more of those little things into our daily lives. i will definitely be adding some of those things to our advent calendar... great ideas for all of us to serve.

  2. what a wonderful way to spend the day - great ideas! thanks for the inspiration. i'll start this weekend with an open heart and more focus on others, and less thinking about "me". (i need to do that more often.)

  5. You mean looking at goats? I am confused. We have two tame goats if you want to come see them. We also have calves, kittens, cows, dogs, chickens, guineas...tractors. It's not fancy, but it's full of cool stuff if you wanna come with the kids. (Oh yeah, and "we" have a golf course next door!) Amy

  6. Amy, you crack me up!
I just posted the pics of Ella because that's what we did on our last Family Day...we went to the pumpkin patch and Ella loved the goats. I'm hoping to make the next Family Day a little more focused. :)

i am excited for you to do it on family day - i can't wait to hear all of the stories from it!

and now i'm inspired to do as many of those as i see the situation.

i mean, picking up a dropped newspaper is something i should be doing ANYWAY.

    so awesome.
i can't stop smiling from reading that!

  9. Ok. I am totally hormonal right now. But, I am all teary and loving everything about this. Love it. Right now, I am on the receiving end of the kindness and as a "receiver" I feel loved and blessed. Thank you for the great post. :)

  11. i am so glad everyone is at football practice tonight and i'm all alone.
just me and the laptop and a little wheel of fortune on the tele.
because i am just bawling my eyes out over this.
i've done similar acts and felt so proud and happy because of it.
    but all in one day?
    just so inspiring!
