Ten On Ten:: September 2012

Take a photo every hour for ten consecutive hours on the tenth of each month.
Document a day of your life and find beauty among the ordinary moments.

Coffee really does taste better in a new mug.
Thanks Brooke and Rebecca.

I hung this Michelle Allen clock in my kitchen.
My girls LOVE it. I love it.

A cupcake that's a clock...what's not to love???

I finished a craft I started over the weekend!
They are wood and the other side I painted with chalkboard paint.
If you want to make one too, you can buy them here.

I watched my favorite movie for the 122,212 time.

We waited outside for Ella to come home from school.

And listened while Ella told us about her day.
"Pizza for lunch!"
A sweet neighbor brought me cookies and oh. my. goodness. They were good!
That same neighbor showed up at my house with a Happy Hour Sonic drink.
She's pretty much my favorite right now.

Ella worked hard at her spelling homework...and guess what? She's loving it.
This is an answer to our prayers!!!!

The girls and I poured over the book order forms. Tonight we'll get our markers and make dream lists for birthdays and Christmas.

I ended the day by going to yoga class.

It was a very low key Monday. Praise the Lord for those.
They really are few and far between, so when they come, they are thee best gift ever. I hope your Tuesday turns out to be that kind of gift, too.

  6. I remember getting those Scholastic forms from school and wanting a ton of books I never got. We just got our first forms as parents and that feeling I had as a kid was fulfilled as I ordered for my daughter. Made me smile to see them on your 10 on 10. :)

  7. From the other side of the world, we too were consumed with the same scholastic order form yesterday! Makes me feel closer. Miss you! Maybe we should have coffee sometime. Or at least drink a cup while we skype?

  8. That clock is so cute! Love it. And the cookies look divine. My husband is a football coach and every Friday, I make a batch of a different kind of cookie for him to take with him to the football game for all the coaches to enjoy. I've actually been looking for a good chocolate chocolate chip cookie recipe...do you have that one to share? I would be ever so grateful! :)
I wait outside for my boy to come home too (although, it's just me. No siblings.) It's a nice quiet time for me to reflect on the day and wait for the activity that is about to consume my household!
    Thanks for sharing!

  13. Rebecca went home and bought a Keurig, and she had an amazing "Grind your beans each day" coffee maker already. Way to change lives, Kimberlee :) I am so glad you are using your cup. Sometimes...you aren't sure if people will use/like your gifts...but you decide to give anyway. So i feel good that you are using it. Even if just for the photo. :) I need your neighbor. Because my kids SLEEP during happy hour. DANG IT. Maybe your neighbor is like I am....makes cookies, needs to get them out of her house so she won't eat them all...takes them to neighbors. That is me. :)
