Insta-Sunday.

I don't know where the summer is going, or where it's gone.
I am very sure I was with you all yesterday.
No?
Here's where we left last off...Ella's birthday.
I have become a huge fan of these tortilla chips.
The 141,356 reason to love Target.

Kids who sing their VBS songs at nursing homes are my favorite.

I turned 38. Oy.
Bruce asked me what my goals were for 38.
The family goals are short and sweet.
One of my favorite things about summer: sundresses.
And I quote, "Mom, I don't think you really want to come in here."
Talia begged Bruce to ride this and he caved.
(Which I love him for.)
Ella wanted nothing to do with the carousel.
She begged to ride these.
I did.
Six times.
On the 4th of July I went to a yoga class with my mother in law.
Which lead me back to her house and fruit pizza.
Dollar store American flags + kids = fun for them
and photo opportunities for everyone else.
I downloaded the My Fitness Pal app this past week.
I love it, and I hate it...

Like when my "pal" tells me that I can have a half cup of my favorite pesto chicken salad .
Some pal.
Backpack, Bible, and proud smile...she loves Sunday.
It's been a busy couple of weeks.
Do you feel like summer is just flying by like I do?
What do you do to try and slow it down???

  6. I agree it's flying by far too fast ... July 4th was here before I knew it & (my fear is ...) the rest of July will be gone too soon ... I love when kids sing at nursing homes ... the joy it brings to the residents simply cannot be described. Thanks for sharing my friend! :)

  9. Cathing up on old posts, don't know where the summer has gone or where in the world I have been. I love this post and your adorable girls! I cracked up with the picture of "Mom, I don't think you really want to come in here1!" Hahahaha!
And as for your the last post, about your story. If it gives you any comfort, I have no idea what my story is, where it's going or how it's going to turn out. There are daily moments when I think, who in the world?! or why didn't I do this or that?!
I will pray along with you friend.
    Thanks for sharing! ;)
