A friend of mine told me last week that her coworkers scolded her for giving her children cereal for dinner every once in awhile.

I told her that my family loves cereal night.
It was 111 degrees out.
I hadn't planned.
I didn't want to heat up the house.
I asked if anyone objected to cereal.
I think I heard a "Hooray" from somebody.
Cereal night may have just become a summer Monday night tradition at our house.
I'll have to thank my friend for that.
My hubby's not such a big fan, but the kids and I think cereal night is the best!
ReplyDeleteI can't even get Alan to do cereal for breakfast. BUT I have cereal a lot for lunch or supper if Alan is gone or there isn't enough left-overs for two.
ReplyDeleteThe boys and I had cereal one night last week. Russ had a bean burro. Either way, it was easy...I hadn't planned dinner but had just been to the grocery store so I actually had milk and three boxes of unopened cereal.

ReplyDeleteWhat?! I can't beleive there are some who don't like cereal meals. Cereal was my main source of nourishment in college.
