Thurston Howell the Fourth

Thurston Howell the Fourth (our first really, but to keep it in line with Gillgian's Island) came to live with us yesterday.
I discovered him via the internet last Thursday at Caring Hands Humane Society.
Bruce was in Dallas.
I was in Loneliness, USA.
And the rest is history because now he's ours.
Forever.
Does it matter that he and his brother were found in a box turned upside down on a busy street?
Does it matter that the box said, "Saint Bernhard" on it?
The vet insists that he is a Shih Tzu and a mix of something else, but NOT Saint Bernhard.
Look at that face.
One of our neighbors took one look at him and said, "That looks just like Beethoven."
Gulp.
Is that why this guy's body language looks nervous to me?
No matter.
Thurston's part of the family now.
For better or Shih Tzu/St. Bernhard.

"mom, do you think that puppy...."

so many times today i've lost count. suffice to say, if it's a big dog, it's welcome over here at the Funkyhouse.

  8. There's nothing like a dog to make a house a home. I love being greeted when I walk in the door. You'll love it too! Congrats!
