A Book Giveaway

This morning I am going to a new Bible Study. For the weeks to come we will be discussing this.

I read it 7.5 years ago when I was pregnant with Ella. I still have the copy and am enjoying the underlined parts from way back then. I loved this book then. I love it now.

Christianbook.com describes the book this way:
In 30 easy-to-read chapters, Stormie shares from personal experience how parents can pray for their children's safety, character, adolescence, peer pressure, school experiences, friends, and relationship with God. As an added bonus in this edition, Stormie's grown-up children reflect on the way their praying parents raised them and what a difference it made.

The giveaway:
One of the following written by Stormie Omartian...Ms. Stormie has been busy!
(And really, she has more books than this!)
The Power of a Praying Parent
or

The Power of Praying for your Adult Children
or

The Power of a Praying Church
or
The Power of a Praying Life
or

The Power of a Praying Nation
or

The Power of a Praying Wife
or

The Power of a Praying Husband

AND
a copy of the Message Bible.
As I have been seeking out scriptures to pray for my girls, I have been using the Message Bible. The simple, truthful words speak to me so much...I just have to give another one away.

I always love the fall and getting back in to the routine of being in a bible study. I'm so bad about slacking off in the summer. Not good!

  17. My first prayer book was "What Happens when Women Pray." Was that by your suggestion? Now prayer is one of my favorite topics. I too need to read "Power of a Praying Parent."
